India Awaits Clarity on Hardik Pandya's Fitness Ahead of Crucial Matches

Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been out of action since suffering an ankle injury on October 19 during a World Cup match against Bangladesh. India is anxious to hear more about his condition. Pandya suffered the injury during the game when he stumbled and hurt his left ankle. As a result, he was unable to play in the games against England and New Zealand.

India is hoping to find out in the next few days whether Pandya is fit for some important matches, like one against Sri Lanka in Mumbai on November 2. The National Cricket Academy (NCA) and the medical staff are working together to closely monitor his recuperation.

In response, the medical staff is keeping a close eye on the matter and communicating with both Hardik and the NCA, according to India's bowling coach, Paras Mhambrey. In a few days, we hope to receive an update. We'll see, though.

The Indian team has faced difficulties without Pandya since he is an important all-round player who makes a big contribution with the bat and the ball. India strategically changed their playing XI without him, starting Mohammed Shami and Suryakumar Yadav but leaving Shardul Thakur out. Since rejoining the team, Mohammed Shami in particular has performed exceptionally well, regularly displaying his skill with the ball by getting wickets.

India has been playing incredibly well in the World Cup even without Pandya, winning their sixth straight match by thrashing England by 100 runs. Due to their impressive accomplishments, the squad has a good chance of making it to the semi-finals. After the match against Sri Lanka, India will play South Africa in Kolkata on November 5.

India is probably going to be cautious and wait to send Hardik Pandya back to the side, making sure he heals fully before making a return. Because of their recent winning streak and squad depth, the team has the adaptability to manage without Pandya in the near future.

Pandya's possible return to the team might improve India's chances in the later stages of the World Cup, something that cricket fans are eagerly awaiting updates on. Given the importance of the next games, the squad will put his health first and wait until he is completely match-fit before allowing him to return.
